Version 2.0 of AlertSite's Interactive Web Performance Dashboard provides customers with an executive view of how their website is performing
COCONUT CREEK, Fla.—June 9, 2010—To increase customers’ control and insight into their Web performance, AlertSite® has officially released its Interactive Web Performance Dashboard 2.0 with new capabilities to view, consolidate and customize website performance data. The release of Version 2.0 follows a beta trial, during which AlertSite customers test-drove, reviewed and provided feedback on new features. The result is an even more flexible, robust and user friendly Web performance dashboard that pinpoints and addresses the exact needs of users.
“Our 2.0 Dashboard was developed with our customers’ needs in mind,” says Gary Beerman, Vice President of Marketing for AlertSite. “We had a very successful beta trial period, during which we received great recommendations from our customers. By incorporating their feedback into this next-generation dashboard we are able to ensure that it is as comprehensive and useful for our customers as possible and we will continue to keep this feedback option available to our users. We are confident in the new console’s ability to provide customers with easier and more instant access to critical performance information and analysis.”
Version 2.0 introduces new options for users to organize, view, and dissect performance metrics. New features include:
- More options to consolidate data with a new +/- function giving users the ability to show or hide individual monitor locations as needed and for customers with sub-accounts, the search link has been moved to the dashboard banner. This frees up screen space making the dashboard more visually appealing for users.
- New wrench icon for configuring/viewing the device settings with just one-click so users don’t have to leave the dashboard to adjust monitoring controls.
- Mini-chart functionality that enables users to view data in four different charts simultaneously for a more comprehensive view of Web performance. This gives network operation centers a snapshot view of multiple monitoring stations on one screen.
- New tabs for Security, Server Agent and Load Testing, so customers can better organize and manage their use of AlertSite products.
- Color-coded text that highlights ‘Recent Errors’ in red, so users can immediately identify and address performance issues.
- Full user customization so data can be viewed in the most convenient format and performance issues can be more easily identified. Users can drag ‘n drop performance graphs; sort data multiple ways, including by response time and status; resize charts; and view multiple graphs simultaneously.
“Web performance monitoring is no longer just the responsibility of the IT department,” says Ken Gross, President and CEO of AlertSite. “More and more C-level executives are finding value in having access to this critical information to improve overall business performance. Our improved dashboard recognizes this shift, and allows users to customize and view data based on their individual needs. Customers can drill down to the technical level for specifics or configure the dashboard to provide a higher level view of how their websites and properties are performing. We’ve made it really user-friendly to appeal to all levels of an organization.”
AlertSite’s Interactive Web Performance Dashboard 2.0 will be featured at the Internet Retailer Conference, being held June 8-11 in Chicago. Demos will be available at the AlertSite booth, #714.
